Do your research on the following

Check Efficiency
a.
Check the brightness emitted by the bulb in Lumens
b.
Check the power consumed in Watts
c.
Then calculate the lumens per watt with an easy calculation (Lumens per
Watt = Lumens/Watt)
Example
our MR16 bulb is
280
lumens & 3.65 Watts
280/3.65
= 76.71 is the Lumens per watt. The greater the number the greater is the
efficiency.
B.
Check the Heat dissipation system
Are
you getting better lumens per watt from any other bulb. If so, its great,
now you must check and see if the heat from the LED is being drawn
away from the LED and dissipated out to ensure that the LED lasts long
enough.
C.
Why should you check efficiency ?
High
efficiency, can get more light at using a lower power.
