LEDS presents FLOODBLAZE our latest breakthrough in solid-state
flood lighting that was until now restricted only to Halogen and
high-pressure sodium vapor lamp (HPS) and High Intensity Discharge
lamps.
The
attractive, durable fixtures consume only 75 watts, which is 25% to 50%
less than the high-pressure sodium (HPS) lighting fixtures. Canada LEDS FloodBlaze
provides cool white light with excellent color rendering resulting in a
substantial improvement in night vision when compared to the orange/yellow
light emitted by HPS lighting fixtures. In addition to the reduction in
greenhouse gas emission due to reduced energy use, FloodBlaze
improve environmental quality because the fixtures do not contain mercury
or other hazardous materials found in many types of HPS lighting that
require specialized disposal procedures. And overall volume of waste is
reduced as well since FloodBlaze last up to three times longer than
HPS bulbs and ballasts.
